FIRST WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE

As part of the B.Ed. curriculum, we the third semester students started our teaching practice at the government higher secondary school kilimanoor  on dec 5 2022.I am very happy to start my teaching career in gov h,s,s kilimanoor which is one of the best schools in district Thiruvananthapuram. I was allotted one ninth and eight English medium classes for training. I am allotted only four period in a week two for 8 th standard and two for 9 th standard. I got Binu mone sir as my guide. He is very friendly and if I have any doubt, he helps me to clear it. In 8 th standard total of 28 students and 9 th standard contain total of 43 students. I was allotted to teach the last two chapters of class eighth (Diversity for sustenance, For the continuity of generation) and the last two chapters of class nine (The biology of movement and division for growth and reproduction). After taking the classes for a week I went through various experiences, learned many things. From one week .I started to get an idea of how to approach to students in class, how to teach, how to stand etc. The students of 8 K are so active as compared to 9 F. From all this week during noon break we also participated in serving mid-day meal programme. we all got substitution classes and mostly we went that classes and made the children to do some extracurricular activities like games, quiz etc. During free time we had prepared lesson plan for upcoming classes.

    ഈ ആഴ്ച ഒരുപാട് പ്രത്യേകതകൾ നിറഞ്ഞതായിരുന്നു. ജനുവരി 31 school annual day ആഘോഷങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.  അതിനായി കുട്ടികൾ എല്ലാവരും ആവേശത്തോടെ പ്രരിശ്രമിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അവരവരുടെ പരിപാടികൾ മികവുറ്റതാക്കുവാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു.  അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ പല ക്ലാസ്സുകളിലും കുട്ടികൾ പ്രാക്ടീസ് എന്ന പേരിൽ കയറാതിരുന്നത് അധ്യാപർക്ക് ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുണ്ടാക്കിയെങ്കിലും അവരുടെ പരിപാടികളുടെ നിറങ്ങൾ അവ മായ്ച്ചു കളഞ്ഞു.  കൂടാതെ 02/02/2023 കോളേജിൽ നിന്നും അധ്യാപിക ഞങ്ങളുടെ ക്ലാസ്സ്‌ നിരീക്ഷണത്തിനായി എത്തിയിരുന്നു. ആസൂത്ഗ്ര പ്രകാരം ക്ലാസ്സ്‌ എടക്കുവാൻ സാധിച്ചതിൽ ഒരുപാട് സന്തോഷം തോന്നി.  അതോടൊപ്പം അന്നേ ദിവസം തന്നെ diagnostic test നടത്തുവാനും സാധിച്ചു.  സ്കൂളിലെ ഓരോ പ്രവർത്തങ്ങളിലും പങ്കാളികളാകുന്നത് ഞങ്ങൾ ഒരുപാട് ആസ്വദിച്ചു

4 th week of teaching practise

  The fourth week of teaching practice passed in the pouring rain. This week was another special one. The teacher at our college came to the school for class observation on 05/07/2023.i took special care not to make any kind of mistakes while taking the class. sir checked and signed the lesson plan. Sir came back with instructions after observing the classes of group of eight of us. It was also the day that classes started for plus 1 student. In order to welcome them, there were a freshers day programs prepared by the children in plus two.

 CAMP REPORT  Event   5 days community living camp  Date ;30/03/2023 - 05/04/2023   Objectives learning to living together, sharing duties   and responsibilities.  practicing community works.  practicing democratic living and managing events.  develop coordination among students.  Report   As part of the B. Ed curriculum, there were a five-day community living camp conducted in our college. We, the students were divided into various committees. I came under the food committee.  Day :1   On the first day of our camp, the inauguration program started at 9.30 AM with a prayer song by Gopika Krishnan. Our honorable principal Dr. TV. Kunhiraman sir inaugurated the five days camp in the absence of Mrs. Thankamma, secretary of Kaviyattu college of Education, and delivered a wonderful speech.
